Kathleen McGinley
Kathleen McGinley recently retired from the Allentown School District in Pennsylvania after serving as a Health and Physical Education teacher. Her ability to make a difference in her students’ lives was demonstrated by her nomination and selection as a recipient of Who’s Who Amongst American Teachers for two consecutive years from 2005-2007. Although she loved educating high school students, she decided to leave teaching after 34 years and follow her passion to utilize her expertise without the limitations created in public education.
In 1992, Kathleen experienced a “miracle” during her own trials and tribulations with her divorce. The experience started her on a conscious journey of self discovery in which she created a strong spiritual connection with nature and the Universe. Her personal story has helped many others recognize how to move from a role of victim to co-creator of one’s life.
Kathleen’s love of self discovery, adventure, and “play” led her to become trained as a team building facilitator through Project Adventure in 1995. Ten years later she attained certification through the Spencer Institute as a Wellness Life Strategies Coach and a Holistic Life Coach. Due to her interest in energy and healing work, she also became a certified practitioner in Reiki and took classes in Watsu and Ho’oponopono.
In 2005, Kathleen founded Phoenix Adventures in Wellness, www.phoenixadventure.com and later, its sister organization, Les Be Well, www.lesbewell.com. She incorporates her signature method , Phoenix Fusion, on her retreats which engages individuals experientially in holistic activities, empowering them to rise beyond their expectations as they deepen their relationship with themselves, others and the Universe.
She lives in Allentown, PA with her partner and dogs.
